SAP-C03 AWS Solutions Architect Professional Practice Tests
500 SAP-C03 questions on Bedrock and AgentCore, multi-account security, resilience, migration and cost optimization
Are you ready for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional exam, or do you only think you are? SAP-C03 rewards architects who can read a long scenario, find the one requirement that matters and pick the best of several workable designs. These practice tests are built to show you exactly where you stand.
This practice set contains five practice tests with 100 questions each, 500 in total, written for SAP-C03, which becomes generally available on 17 November 2026. The questions follow the five SAP-C03 domains and the new skill areas AWS announced in September 2026. AWS published the exam guide on 27 October 2026 (five domains weighted 25%, 25%, 15%, 15% and 20%; passing scaled score 720; 65 scored and 10 unscored questions). Our question mix is our own and does not follow those weightings exactly, so use the guide to see where the real exam puts its weight.
What changed from SAP-C02? The old four-domain structure is replaced by five domains: architecture design and implementation built for the cloud; security, compliance, and governance; cost-optimized architecture design; resilience, migration, and business continuity; and operational excellence and automation. New content includes Amazon Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore, retrieval-augmented generation, Bedrock Guardrails, AWS Fault Injection Service, AWS Resilience Hub, Application Recovery Controller, VPC Lattice, ECS Service Connect, DevSecOps pipelines, Apache Iceberg lakehouses, AWS Clean Rooms and post-quantum cryptography in AWS KMS. Practice material written for SAP-C02 prepares you for an exam that ends on 16 November 2026.
The five SAP-C03 practice tests build up step by step:
- Test 1, Groundwork: direct recall and requirement-to-service mapping.
- Test 2, In Practice: short scenarios that separate easily confused services.
- Test 3, Trade-offs: two answers look right; one constraint decides.
- Test 4, Under the Hood: limits, settings and the order of steps.
- Test 5, Exam Day: long Professional-level scenarios under time pressure.
Every answer option has its own explanation, so you learn why the wrong options are wrong and what they actually do. Each question also has an overall explanation with a link to the AWS documentation page that supports it.
PrepKiwi reports your result per domain after each attempt, so you can see whether security, resilience or cost is holding you back. The passing score is 80% for Tests 1 to 4 and 85% for Test 5, deliberately higher than the real exam is likely to require.
What this practice set is not: it is not a video course and it does not replace hands-on experience. It tests your knowledge and explains the answers, so you can spend your remaining study time where it counts.
Groundwork: Core SAP-C03 Services and Patterns
100 questions · 190 minutes · pass mark 80%
Practice Test 1 is the groundwork round for SAP-C03. The 100 questions are short and direct: one concept per question, mostly mapping a requirement to the right AWS service, feature or pattern. Topics come from all five SAP-C03 domains in similar proportions to the other four tests, including the new areas such as Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore, VPC Lattice, AWS Resilience Hub, Fault Injection Service and post-quantum cryptography in AWS KMS. You have 190 minutes, which leaves room to read every explanation. Take this test cold as a baseline before you study further. The passing score here is 80%, higher than the real exam is likely to require, because recall-level questions should be easy points on exam day. Every answer option has its own explanation, and each question links to the AWS documentation page that backs it.
In Practice: Telling Similar AWS Services Apart
100 questions · 180 minutes · pass mark 80%
Practice Test 2 moves from recall to short practical scenarios. Each of the 100 questions describes a small situation and asks you to pick between AWS services and features that are easy to confuse: Step Functions Standard versus Express, VPC Lattice versus Transit Gateway, SCPs versus RCPs, pilot light versus warm standby, Savings Plans versus Reserved Instances, and many more. The domain mix is identical to the other tests, so your per-domain results are comparable from test to test. Time limit: 180 minutes. Passing score: 80%. Read the explanation for every option, including the ones you rejected: they spell out what each distractor actually does, which is exactly the distinction the real exam tests.
Trade-offs: When Two Architectures Look Right
100 questions · 190 minutes · pass mark 80%
Practice Test 3 is about trade-offs. In most of the 100 questions two answers look reasonable, and a single constraint in the scenario decides: data residency, RPO, latency, operational overhead, an existing on-premises dependency or cost. This is the core skill of the Solutions Architect - Professional exam. Read each stem slowly and underline the requirement that rules out the second-best answer before you look at the options. Time limit: 190 minutes for longer scenarios. Passing score: 80%. The explanations name the deciding constraint for every question, so review them even when you answered correctly.
Under the Hood: Limits, Settings and Sequences
100 questions · 160 minutes · pass mark 80%
Practice Test 4 goes under the hood. The 100 questions focus on how things actually behave and are configured: limits that shape a design, the setting that enables a feature, the order of steps in a migration or failover, deployment configurations, key policies, replication behaviour and observability settings. Questions are shorter than in Test 3, but each one demands precise knowledge rather than a general impression. Time limit: 160 minutes. Passing score: 80%. If this test exposes gaps, the linked AWS documentation page in each explanation is the fastest place to close them.
Exam Day: Full-Length SAP-C03 Simulation
100 questions · 200 minutes · pass mark 85%
Practice Test 5 is the full simulation. The 100 questions are long, Professional-level scenarios: a company, its current architecture, and several requirements at once, often phrased as LEAST operational overhead or MOST cost-effective. Domains are mixed, and the answer options are complete architectures of similar length, just like the real SAP-C03 exam. Take it in one uninterrupted sitting. The 200-minute limit is tighter per question than the real exam pace, so finishing here on time means you have margin on exam day. The passing score is 85%, deliberately above what the real exam is likely to require, because a practice test you have studied for should be cleared with room to spare. Use this test as your readiness gate.

Exam domains covered
Who is this for
This practice set is for solutions architects, cloud architects, platform and infrastructure engineers, DevOps and security engineers who design AWS workloads and want to validate their readiness for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional exam in its new SAP-C03 version. It also suits technical leads and consultants who guide teams on multi-account, cloud-native and AI-integrated architectures. If you prepared for SAP-C02, note what changed: SAP-C03 replaces SAP-C02 on 17 November 2026 (the last SAP-C02 exam day is 16 November 2026), reorganises the exam into five domains and adds generative AI and agentic AI, resilience engineering, cloud-native patterns, DevSecOps and observability, lakehouse and data-sharing architectures, and post-quantum cryptography. Most SAP-C02 practice material does not cover these areas. This practice set is a bank of 500 practice questions with detailed explanations. It tests and explains; it does not replace hands-on experience or a full training course.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing solutions on AWS is strongly recommended; AWS suggests two or more years. Associate-level knowledge (SAA-C03) is a good starting point.
- Familiarity with networking, identity, databases and CI/CD concepts. You do not need to be an expert in every service; the explanations fill gaps as you go.
- These are practice tests, not a video course. Use them alongside the free official AWS Skill Builder exam prep material and the AWS documentation, not instead of them.
